Mediumship & Working With Spirit

I recently had the privilege of serving two Churches in late May ( 29^th ) and earlier June ( 5^th ) as a medium. The first was at Woodford Spiritualist Church, where I was booked months in advance, and second at North London Church, which saw me step in for a friend, with little time for preparation.

Both went fabulously well, and I am really pleased I did them as it was a great way to serve Spirit. It’s not something that I would have chosen to do on my own, it was Spirit who invited me to do it in a way. I was at Woodford Church about six months earlier, I had come to see an old friend called Marcio give a demonstration of medium. Marcio was someone who was once in a mediumship circle I belonged to. He had served Churches as a medium many years prior, but had taken a long lay off from working in Churches and had only recently returned to doing mediumship at churches. I went to support Marcio and to experience what his mediumship was like on platform. Marcio’s mediumship was very strong and he gave some great evidence.

After the serve, while teas were being served to those of us who stayed behind, John Rooney who had chaired the service for Marcio, just came up to me and asked me if I was a medium. Before I could answer him properly, he went on to explain that Spirit had asked him to approach me because they wanted me to do platform mediumship! He informed me of an open platform night ( where they test out new mediums ) coming up soon and I was welcome to do that night if I wished, with an eye to be booked for a regular service later on. Not being sure at that point, I said I’d think about it.

I thought about it, and did the open platform night with four other mediums, each of us having a full half hour on our own, and it went down really well. John then booked me for the 29^th of May, which was the first service where I’ve done spiritual mediumship on my own.

I had previously given messages in Churches from the rostrum but never on my own. A few years ago I was involved with the running a different spiritualist church known as Stockwell Church, I was involved with many aspect of the running of that church including, organising events, looking after the finances, booking the mediums and chairing the services. For those who aren’t familiar with what a chair person does at a service, they basically preside over the service and make the announcements. I spent a lot of time observing how mediums work from the position of a chair person and speaking to them about their methods of working with spirit after the service.

I’ve also stepped in for mediums who couldn’t make the nights they were booked on, with the help of other members of a close mediumship circle that took place at the Stockwell Church. And eventhough I had great success on those nights, working with two are three other mediums, is a different prospect to working solo. For one in a group you are giving far less readings during the course of the service and also the responsibility is shared whereas on your own, you bear the solo responsibility.

So despite being very familiar with the work of mediums in Churches, doing it solo for the first time was still a daunting prospect and I wasn’t sure if I could deliver enough messages to fill the 30 to 40 minutes of the service dedicated to mediumship. However I needn’t have worried as the messages flowed effortlessly. Infact I got descriptions for most of the spiritual beings and half of the evidence for those messages before it was time for the mediumship. It’s a real exercise in trust, because you have to completely trust the information that spirit is giving you, and you may not understand fully why you are being given certain impressions.

At the moment my guides are working with me in a clairsentient manner. In my case this means that spirit build up energy forms around my body, which leads to an idea of what they are trying to communicate across. For example if they want to give me the impression that the Spirit wishing to come through is wearing a tie and dinner jacket, they will literally build energy into the shapes of a tie and dinner jacket around my neck, which will then lead to an idea of what that would look like on the person, the size and shape of the person, the attitude and character of the individual and other qualities would come through just from experiencing these energy models.

All of my messages where take successfully at Woodford church, as well as at North London church ( apart from one ). Once I have the energy models around me and I comprehend them, I know I have a clear message, the only thing at that point I wouldn’t be one hundred percent certain of was who the message was for.

When dealing with 30 plus people it is easy to get your bearing slightly off, despite getting the direction right, it’s very easy to give a message to one person, only to find later on that the message is for the individual next to them. Again I needn’t have been to worried because despite being least confident with this aspect of the art of mediumship. After checking back with my guides, to see if I was with the right individual in the congregation, I managed to go to right individuals without much fess.

Until the last message that is, here the first person I went to could take some of the descriptions I gave, but as it turn out, another person could take the message as well. As I went on a little further, two more hands went up. What had happened was that Spirit had given me a quadruple link. They give me a message for four different people simultaneously. All four individuals who received the massage were unaware of each others pasts, yet knew individuals from their own pasts who had similar unique qualities and suffered from similar conditions to those known by the other three.

Why did this happen this way? It happened that way because time was running out, and there was only time to give one more message and spirit wanted all four of them to get a message before the service was over. So the message was to given to me in way that all four congregation members could understand.

I was not expecting this, especially as this was my first solo service and I was just starting out. In a way it is quite encouraging to know that spirit have the confidence in my potential in giving me a quad link to deal with.

Apart from giving messages, another aspect of a mediums work at a church service is to give an inspired address on a spiritual subject. This usually takes place before the demonstration of mediumship. And on both occasions at Woodford and North London, the addresses I gave were well received and many in the congregations felt they were timely for them. Both address were inspired by the teaching of White Eagle’s and touched upon how to draw closer to the Angels and how we can bring them into our lifes.

It seems that spirits would like me to extend my mediumistic work beyond my communications with the Angelic realm, in the manner I am currently executing for this Angel project, to included also working in Churches, bringing messages from loved ones in spirit to those who need it, in corporal flesh. Which I will do as and when the opportunities arise.
